Santi Balmes y Lyona

Lyona (the pen name of Marta Puig) is an illustrator, graphic designer and music video artist. She studied cinema at ESCAC and specialised in directing. She has made over fifty videos for such groups as Love of Lesbian, Amaral, Lori Meyers and Beth. She began to publish her drawings on her blog, and the first children's book she illustrated was Yo mataré monstruos por ti (I'll Kill Monsters for You), written by Santi Balmes, and published by Principal de Libros in 2011, which is currently iin its 20th edition. She then worked on Mister Garabato (Mr Doodle) with Marcus, and El libro de tu vida (The Book of Your Life). She has also illustrated: Mis primeros, primeros besos (My First, First Kisses), a graphic novel about the emotional development of a girl seen through all her first kisses; La vida es corta y luego te mueres (Life Is Short and Then You Die), a hundred microfictions by Enric Pardo, and ¿Cuáno Pides? (What's Your Price?), with Wallapop stories by Àlex Maruny.
