Laura Falcó Lara (Barcelona 1969) has a degree in English Literature from the University of Barcelona and a Masters in Business Management from ESADE. She began her career with Grupo Editorial Planeta in 1995 and, after several years in charge of the marketing department for the Planeta imprint, took charge of Martínez Roca and Minotauro. In 2001 she also took charge of Timun Mas and Libros Cúpula. In 2005 she created Esencia and Zenith, and in 2011 she launched Planeta Gift. She currently runs Prisma Publicaciones and the Conference Office. In addition, she is part of the broadcast team for the 'Ecos del pasado' segment of Onda Cero's 'La rosa de los vientos' programme and contributes to 'Levántate y Cárdenas' on Europa FM. As a writer she has published three titles so far: 'Gritos antes de morir' ('Shouts Before Dying') (2012), 'La muerte sabe tu nombre' ('Death Knows Your Name') (2012) and 'Chelston House' (2014).
