Alberto Pasamontes

Alberto Pasamontes was born in Madrid in 1970, has a degree in English philology, and has been active in the literary world since 2009, including winning the first prize in the fourth Ediciones Beta short story competition and second prize in the fourteenth Ministry of Defence Artistic and Literary Awards. Some of his stories have been published in magazines and anthologies, and his first novel, Between the Rain, written in the noir genre in which he moves so well, appeared in 2014. In 1993 at 23 years old he was involved in an attack by ETA while completing his military service as the chauffeur to General Herrero, who was killed in the attack. Invisible Death was voted unanimously as winner of the eighteenth Francisco García Pavón award for crime narrative.
