Iria G. Parente\Selene M. Pascual

Iria G. Parente (1993) and Selene M. Pascual (1989) are two young writers from Madrid and Vigo respectively. They co-wrote their first novel, 'Pétalos de papel' ('Paper Petals'), in 2012, which they made available fro free online and which managed to attract more than 10,000 readers. From that point on, they haven't wanted to stop: together they have continued dreaming and creating as much as their time has allowed: in 2014 they took the plunge into print publishing with 'Alianzas' ('Alliances'), the first book in the 'Cuentos de la luna llena' ('Stories of the Full Moon') trilogy, published by Editorial Everest. That same year 'Alianzas' was chosen by Babelia (El País's cultural supplement) as one of the best Young Adult books of the year, and a few months later in February 2015 it was awarded the 'El templo de las mil puertas' prize for the best novel belonging to a saga. La Galera is publishing a new edition of 'Alianzas'.
