Javier Sáez Castán y Miguel Murugarren

Miguel Murugarren is from San Sebastián, and has a degree in geography and history. His professional life has been in the fields of graphic arts, mostly in books graphics, design and printing. He has also worked as an independent editor, and in 2003 he and Javier Sáez published The Universal Animalarium of Professor Revillod, in the Bank of Cultural Economics in Mexico. Javier Sáez is from Huesca, and has written and illustrated album covers, graphic novels, novels and other publications, including Edison’s Revenge, which won the Nostra prize at the Guadalajara International Book Fair in Mexico in 2009. He has twice won the prize at the Venezuela Book Bank, and on three occasions the White Ravens prize from the Munich International Youth Library. In 2016 he won the Spanish National Award for Illustration.
