Cristina Campos was born in Barcelona in 1975. She has a degree in Humanities from the Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona. She finished her studies at the University of Heidelberg in Germany, where she also worked as the coordinator of the city's international cinema festival. She returned to her home country where she began her career in the cinematographic industry. She has worked as a casting director for feature films and television series for the past ten years. She currently combines her audio-visual work with her passion for writing. "Lemon Bread with Poppy Seeds" is her first novel.
