The Harvest
Martí Domínguez has a PhD in Biology. He teaches journalism at the Universidad de Valencia, and is editor of the scientific magazine Mètode. He writes in a variety of media organs, such as El Temps, La Vanguardia, Ara and El País. A number of his articles have been anthologised in Peiximinuti (The Grill) and Bestiari (Bestiary). He has been awarded the National Journalism Prize for his work at the head of Mètode. As a novelist, he is the author of Las confidencias del conde de Buffon (The Confidences of Count Buffon), winner of the Andròmina and Crexells prizes and the Crítics prize of the Universidad de Valencia); El secreto de Goethe (Goethe's Secret; the Prudenci Bertrana Critic's Prize of the Universidad de Valencia); El retorno de Voltaire (The Return of Voltaire; Josep Pia prize); El fracasado (Failed), a recent publication on Cézanne and Pissarro.
