Joan Todó (La Sénia, 1977) is a writer. Graduate in Literary Theory and Comparative Literature. He has published two volumes of poetry and a book of critically acclaimed short stories. He wrote a series of stories, "El ombligo del mundo" (The Naval of the World), for the monthly magazine L’Avenç which became the embryo for this novel.
