Fedosy Santaella (1970) is a Venezuelan author who has written a number of collections of short stories including "Piedras lunares" ("Moonstones"), "Ciudades que ya no existen" ("Cities That Don't Exist Yet"), "Instrucciones para leer este libro" ("Instructions For Reading This Book") and "Terceras personas" ("Third Persons") and the novels "Rocanegras" ("Blackrocks"), "Las peripecias inéditas de Teofilus Jones" ("The Unedited Adventures of Teofilus Jones"), "En sueños matarás" ("You Will Kill In Your Dreams") and "Los escafandristas" ("The Deep-Sea Divers"). In 2010 he was amongst the ten finalists for Spain's Cosecha Eñe short story prize. In 2013 he won the prestigious short story competition run by the Venezuelan paper "El Nacional". In the same year he was one of the nine finalists for the Premio Herralde novel prize. Some of his stories have been translated into English, Chinese, Slovenian, Turkish and Japanese.
