Susana Vallejo

My name is Susana Vallejo Carvarino and I was born in Madrid, in 1968. I studied Advertising and Public Relations at the Universidad Complutense in Madrid. When I was 26, I moved to Barcelona, where I have lived ever since. When I 'grew up', I worked in a number of multinational companies, in the areas of Sales, Marketing, and what is known as Trade Marketing and Category Management… I became an executive without time for writing or drawing, or any of the other things I liked. But fate decided that the multinational I was working in should be taken over by another, even bigger one, and after a series of flukes, I ended up working in Communications, creating print magazines, electronic newsletters and even videos. Now I can fit my work in with what I like best: writing and telling stories.
