PATRICIA GARCÍA-ROJO

Patricia García-Rojo has a degree in Spanish Language and Literature and teaches the subject in a secondary school. In 2007 she won the Andalucía Joven de Narrativa prize for her novel "La Fábrica Creátor" ("The Creator Factory") (Berenice), which allowed her to publish the complete Los Portales de Éldonon ("The Portals of Éldonon") saga between 2008 and 2014. The saga consists of four books: La Fábrica Creátor, Los Cines Somnios ("The Dream Cinemas"), La Última Musa ("The Last Muse") and "La Sede de los Imaginatos" ("The Seat of the Imaginers"). In 2012 she published her first book of poems "Amar es aquí" ("Loving is Here") with Ediciones Torremozas. In 2013 she was shortlisted for the Premio Gran Angular for "Lobo" ("Wolf"). "El camino de la venganza" ("The Road of Revenge") was published later as part of Editorial SM's Gran Angular collection. Her second poetry collection, "El hombre, la casa, la luz" ("The Man, The House, The Light") (Ediciones Torremozas), was published in 2014.
