Summer Sins
Daniel Blanco (Moguer, Huelva, 1978) graduated in Journalism from the Universidad de Sevilla and has a PhD from the Department of Literature of the Faculty of Communication and a Masster's in Creative Writing (2011); he is studying History of Art at UNED. He worked as a journalist for eight years on El Correo de Andalucía, specialising in culture and society. He has also worked in press offices and has been commissioned to write the text for various exhibitions (La Pepa 1812-2012[The Spanish Constitution 1812-2012]; Platero y Yo [Platero the Donkey and I]). In 2009 he published Cita con la vida (An Appointment with Life), with a prologue by Antonio Gala. He has won some fifteen national prizes for short stories, plays and child literature, including the children's fiction edition of the XXVIII Jaén literary prizes. Los pecados de verano is forthcoming from Ediciones B in June.
