Fernando Figueroa Saavedra

Fernando Figueroa has a PhD in Art History and is a plastic-graphic artist, actor and novelist. Since 1995, he has become increasingly well known as an analyst of such cultural phenomena as Graffiti and Urban Art, in addition to exploring graffiti as a means of communication and expression in various typographies and eras, while concentrating on contemporary history. He has had several exhibitions of his graphic work and also participates in theatrical events, particularly with the worlds of the clown and commedia dell'arte. As a novelist, he is the author of El libro de Angelina and Las máscaras de Gades (The Gades Masks), both of which are rigourously researched historical novels mixed with fantasy and humour.
