Cabaret Biarritz
José C. Vales (Zamora, 1965) graduated in Hispanic Philology from the Universidad de Salamanca and later specialised in the philosophy and aesthetics of romantic literature in Madrid. His professional career has always been linked to publishing, as an editor and translator with various imprints. His recent translations for the publishing house Impedimenta have received critical and public acclaim. In addition, he regularly contributes to various cultural pages on the Internet, in terms of both criticism and creative writing and frequently takes part in media programmes and conferences on nineteenth-century romantic literature. In January 2015 he won the prestigious Premio Nadal for Cabaret Biarritz.
