IRENE GRACIA

Irene Gracia was born in Madrid. She studied painting and sculpture at Barcelona Faculty of Fine Art. She has published the novels Fiebre para siempre (Premio Ojo Crítico, 1994), Hijas de la noche en llamas (1999), Mordake o la condición infame (2001), El coleccionista de almas perdidas (shortlisted for the Premio de Novela Fundación J. M. Lara for the best novel published in that year, 2006), El beso del ángel (2011) y El alma de las cosas (2014). All her novels have been critically acclaimed. She is also the author of various stories, published in different anthologies, and has a wide range of work in visual arts.
