Origami
Vicente Palacios was born in Burgos, Spain, in 1929, a few yards from Doctor Vicente Solórzano’s house, a pioneer of modern Origami who coined the Spanish term for the technique, Papiroflexia.
Palacios was the first president of the Spanish Origami Association (1982-1993) and the editor of "Boletin" (1986-1993), and is also a member of other Origami associations.
He is the author of nine books, three of which have also been published in the United States, and a fourth in Mexico, which is used by all the students of a particular year. He has disseminated his enthusiasm for Origami giving classes and talks on the radio and the television, in the U.S., Europe and, of course, Spain.
Although he has invented many now famous figures, he prefers carrying out historical research, drawing diagrams, collecting, etc.
