ANDRÉS GUERRERO

Andrés Guerrero was born in Trujillo (Cáceres) in 1958. He dreamed of being an illustrator as a child and decided when he was a teenager to devote himself completely to the world of drawing and illustration, pursuits he has followed ever since. He has illustrated numerous books and works of children and young people's literature, and published several works in which he is both author and illustrator. He regularly writes for the media, including for publishing houses, newspapers and magazines. He sees himself as lucky for having been able to devote himself to writing and drawing. In 2009he won the CCEI prize for Illustration. At some point horses became a part of his life, and with them, hist first book for young people, 'Siempre estaré allí'. In his own words, he likes the colour white, cold winters, writing stories, drawing good monsters and, more than all of these things, coffee.
