I was born in Liédena (Navarra) in 1946 and have lived in Molins de Rei (Barcelona) since I married. I graduated in History and, after a brief three-year period as a teacher, I opted for books, which are my real passion. Almost my whole working life has been passed in the world of publishing. I have edited textbooks and children's books. I spent three years creating and promoting the Premio Europa, jointly convened by publishing houses in four European Union countries:Ediciones B, HarperCollins, Arena Verlag and Editions deLAmitié-Ragéot. I received a grant to study at the Munich Jugendbibliothek (Germany). I have also been a member of the CCLIJ (Catalan Chamber of Children's and Youth Books) and belong to the Asociación Colegial de Autores. I have written articles and lectured on children's books and have taught on postgraduate publishing courses
