The restless grape
Elisenda Guiu was born in Barcelona in 1974. A graduate of humanities and journalism (Universitat Pompeu Fabra), she has years of experience as a TV scriptwriter for children and young people's programmes such as Los Lunnis (TVE) and Peter and Jack (Canal Clan), where she works at the moment. She write the lyrics for the song 'La Canción de los Derechos de UNICEF' and has published the children's collection 'La tecnología habla' (Ed. Salvatella 2012). Cristina Caupena was born in Barcelona en 1971. She has illustrated stories such as Big-Magic and La fada Xiela, published by Arola Editors. She studied applied art and fashion design at the IDEP. Her meticulous style includes intense documenting work, and the result is a balanced mixture of romanticism and reality that engages readers both young and old. She currently combines illustration with giving children's workshops.
