Murder in the Prado Museum
Tomás García Yebra (Madrid, 1956) learned his first lessons in Las Navas del Marqués (Avila), studied for his baccalaureate at San Agustín school in Madrid, and took his degree in Art History at the Universidad Complutense. He began his journalistic career at the now defunct newspaper Ya. One of the articles that he wrote for this paper was honoured with a Unicef award. Subsequently he worked on the supplement El Semanal, part of the Grupo Correo, during which time he reported from all over Spain and interviewed numerous personalities. He is currently Head of Culture at the Colpisa agency. He has published three works of fiction: El Andarín de Su Órbita (1983), La Dificultad de Ser Normal (1987) and El Infierno Son Los Otros (1990); two history books: Historia Secreta de Las Naves del Marqués (2001) and Historia Secreta de Las Naves del Marqués II; and a polemic essay: Desmontado a Cela.
