Iberian chronicles In the footsteps of George Borrow, agent for the Bible Society in 19th Century Spain
Born in London in 1969. He works in the audiovisual field. He is a scriptwriter and has just directed his first documentary, Herbolarium (2008). After reading the book by George Borrow The Bible in Spain, he felt the urgent need to relive the epic journey described by him. David Fernández de Castro, unlike the English writer, defines himself as a mediocre narrator, a lousy boxer and a worse jockey, tried to emulate the bible seller and nineteenth-century author, and crossed Spain from the north to the south. He also joined the George Borrow Society, where he has the involuntary merit of being, by far its youngest member. Iberian Chronicles is his first book.
