Blanca Busquets

Blanca Busquets i Oliu (Barcelona, 1961) is a writer and journalist. Literature has made a deep impression on her life. At 12 she wrote her first story, and since then, writing has become the main axis of her life. She has published the novels 'Presó de Neu' (Proa, 2003), 'El Jersei' (Rosa dels Vents, 2006), which was translated into German and Russian, 'Tren a Puigcerdà' (Rosa dels Vents, 2007), and 'A saber donde está el cielo' (Rosa dels Vents & Plaza & Janés, 2009) and La última nevada' (Rosa dels Vents/Random House Mondadori, 2011) . As a journalist she has worked since 1986 for Catalunya Ràdio, making several programmes. She has also worked as a writer for Televisió de Catalunya for 7 years.
