José Antonio Fortea Cucurull (1968) is a priest and theologian who specialises in demonology. He studied Theology at the Universidad de Navarra. He graduated, with a major in Church History, from the Facultad de Teología de Comillas. He belongs to the presbytery of the diocese of Alcalá de Henares (Madrid). In 1998 he had a viva on his thesis Exorcism in the Present Day, directed by the secretary of the Commission for the Doctrine of Faith from the Conferencia Episcopal Española. In October 2001 he was appointed archpriest. As well as a theologian, he is a parish priest at Nuestra Señora de Zulema (Madrid) and a parish administrator for La Asunción de Nuestra Señora de los Hueros.
