ROSA MARIA HUERTAS GOMEZ

Rosa Huertas was born in Madrid. She holds a doctorate in Information Science and a degree in Hispanic Philology. She specialises in Children's Literature, and her doctoral thesis was on Spanish young adult literature. She teaches Language and Literature at a school in Madrid. She has published various books about creativity and two novels for young people, both prizewinners. In Cyrano's Blog she explores the world of the theatre, which she is passionate about, and the protagonist could be representation of herself when she was a university student. She likes stories that bring together past and present and those which incorporate real people, as this novel does with Garcia Lorca. Although her first novel was published only a few years ago, Rosa Huertas has been writing for a long time, but never thought her stories would reach readers so she always left them half-finished.
