Lluis Cifuentes i Comamala is an assistant lecturer at the Universitat de Barcelona and member of the Centre de Documentació Ramon Llull and the Institut de Recera en Cultures Medievals. His field of research includes spreading scientific and technological knowledge in Catalan and aspects of the history of trades and written culture within Catalonia in the Late Middle Ages. Among his most prestigious publications are: La ciència en català a l’Edat Mitjana i el Renaixement (Barcelona, 2002; 2nd ed. 2006) and multiple contributions to the Arnaldi de Villanova Opera Medici Omnia series (X.2, Barcelona, 1988; 2nd ed. 2004). He is coordinating the construction of a digital corpus on Sciència.cat.
