Isabel Plaza Hidalgo

Isabel Plaza Hidalgo has a degree (CUNEF) and a doctorate (UNED) in Economic and Business Sciences. She has carried out research for the Savings Bank Foundation and for the Economic and Social Research body FUNCAS. She was associate lecturer at the Carlos III University in Madrid. She now teaches in the Department of Business Economics and Accountancy at UNED, running courses on finance and management at diploma and degree level. On the doctorate and masters research programmes of the Faculty of Business Economics she gives courses and directs research projects on the banking industry, with special interest in the measurement of its productivity.
