Vicente Lleó Cañal

Vicente Lleó Cañal is Professor of History of Art at the Universiidad de Sevilla. He has been research assistant to Prof. Sir John Elliot at the Institute of Advanced Studies at Princeton and guest lecturer at the University of Mitchigan-Ann Abor and the Centre for Advanced Study in the Visual Arts of the National Gallery, Washington D. C. Among his most outstanding publications are his monographs on The House of the Pilates (Madris, 1998) and The Citadel of Seville (Barcelona, 2002). He is a member of the Sevillean Real Academia de Buenas Letras and patron of the Fundación Casa Ducal de Medinaceli.
