Commissioner Valtierra, a nostalgic, tango-loving native of Buenos Aires, is chief of the Political Section of the Buenos Aires police and has blood on his hands. A revolutionary group has condemned him to death for all the torture and murders in which he has been involved and to avenge their comrades. One member of the organization is The Englishman, an idealistic student from the provinces who will find himself involved in an execution for the first time. His revolutionary determination clashes with his personal scruples, his fears and doubts about killing a man.
A political cop thriller which is also morally disturbing.
