Josep Busquet Mendoza (Barcelona, 1975) began his career in comic strip writing at the age of 15, publishing self-edited fanzines. He has excelled as a scriptwriter in graphic novels such as Manticore (1996, Camaleón), The Lobeznos Japan Tour (1997, Glenat), Fedor Stratocuster and Hallelujah Jones (1998, Camaleón), Saturn Babe (1998, Planeta) , GoldenPussy (1999, Planeta-DeAgostini) and Historia de Piera (2003, Ayuntamiento de Piera). At the same time he brought to life UNO, a character scripted and drawn by the author himself in the magazine Amaniaco, in the comic strip book Mektan (1998, Camaleón) and in Todos para Uno (1999, Amaniaco).
