Owané is a story for the whole family, written so that parents can read it every night to their children at before they go to sleep. In the book, the story of Owané is told by a father to his three sons. Night after night the brothers gradually learn about the life of Owané, a brave, unusual little girl who will lead her village following the trace of the ugly monkeys. In her adventure, Owané has to face angry elephants, burning trees, waterfalls and hummingbirds cleverer than some hunters.
