He also lectures Theology in a Madrid seat of the Universidad Pontificia de Salamanca, at the Ateneo de Madrid and at the Cefyt de Córdoba (Argentina), amongst other centres of study.

His literary debut took place in 2000 with the work, El estreno, a collection of short stories, which received high critical acclaim, and with Las ideas puras, one of the finalists for the Herralde literary award. Subsequently, he published his novel, Andanzas del impresor Zollinger (Anagrama, 2003), recently translated into Catalan by the publishing house, El Funambulista; and now, with Pre-Textos, Astonishment and Wonder, his third novel.
