Geoffrey Mulligan

Geoff Mulligan is Publisher at Large for Harvill Secker where he edits a number of authors, including André Brink, Louis de Bernières, J.M.Coetzee, Julia Franck, Günter Grass, David Lodge, Joseph O'Connor, Tim Parks and Per Petterson.

He is also publisher of The Clerkenwell Press, a new literary fiction imprint of Profile. The list includes work by Kim Thuy, Judith Hermann and Russell Banks.

Michal Shavit

Michal Shavit entered the world of books as a literary agent at The Wylie Agency in London in 2002. She joined Allen Lane, The Penguin Press as an editor in 2006 where she worked on a range of non-fiction including the bestselling Too Big to Fail by Andrew Ross Sorkin and initiated the Penguin 'Great Loves' Series. After three years she moved to Granta Books where she worked with prize-winning authors including Chris Adrian, Elif Batuman, Masha Gessen, Denis Johnson, Peter Stamm, Rupert Thomson, and a new range of international voices including Valeria Luiselli, Maria Venegas and Alejandro Zambra. She joined Harvill Secker as Editorial Director in April 2012 where she works with both fiction and non-fiction authors including Enrique Vila-Matas, Clive Stafford-Smith, Tom Reiss, Sheila Heti, Jesús Carrasco, Michel Laub and the Estate of José Saramago.

Guy Ramage

I worked for several years as bookseller with Books Etc and then became the manager of Borders Bookshop on Oxford St in London’s West End, before becoming a buyer at Head Office. I now work as Head of Sales for a joint business venture, Gallic Books and Belgravia Books. Gallic Books are an independent publisher which specialises in translating French titles into English, while Belgravia Books is an independent bookshop near Victoria Station which has a strong range of translated fiction and crime.

Michael Prodger

Michael Prodger was formerly literary editor of the Sunday Telegraph and has judged, among others, the Man Booker, Samuel Johnson and Costa prizes. He is now the art critic for Standpoint magazine and writes on art and books for numerous newspapers and magazines.

Frank Wynne

Frank Wynne is a literary translator from French and Spanish whose work includes translations of, among others, Michel Houellebecq, Claude Lanzmann, Tómas Eloy Martínez and Alonso Cueto. HIs work has earned him the IMPAC Prize, the Independent Foreign Fiction Prize and most recently the 2011 Valle Inclán Prize for his translation of "Kamchatka" by Marcelo Figueras He has also contributed to The Paris Review, Index on Censorship and Granta. He lives in London.
